My place of employment is putting together a donation box of non-perishables. We have given a cut off date of 12 Dec 2019 so I can deliver it on 13 Dec 2019. Where is the best place to donate?

If your collection is about 100 lbs. (3 or 4 boxes) drop them off at 5 Allan between 9am and noon. If that time is not good for you (or it is a much larger donation), let us know and we will arrange to be at the warehouse at 50 Bennett St. at an agreed upon time. And thank you for thinking of us! Are you taking donations at your warehouse now? We are looking to get our daughters (5 and 8) involved in a community project and would love to have them go through the process of collecting canned goods from home and dropping them off. Just wasn’t sure if this was possible due to covid-19.

We do take food donations at the food bank (at 84 Mill St., Carleton Place). Simply send an email to food.thehungerstop@gmail.com to schedule a drop off. We are trying to have food donations dropped off outside of our operating hours to provide safe distancing and minimize contact. The best day/time is a Monday or Wednesday morning or a Friday afternoon. We look forward to meeting your daughters.
